Sansho Pepper

Sansho peppers are closely related to Sichuan peppercorns. Traditionally used in Japanese cooking, Sansho peppercorns are mildly spicy, floral and lemony, and are an important part of the spice mix Shichimi Togarashi. Great on noodles or grilled meats and fish but be aware that they are also known for leaving a slight prickly or numbing sensation on the tongue. 20g tin
