Furikake Spice Blend

Furikake is a nutty, crunchy umami-laden Japanese seasoning mix traditionally used to sprinkle over rice, noodles, tofu, and fish. While there is a huge variety of ingredients that can be used, Yoshi's version contains slivers of seaweed, toasted sesame seeds, dried fish, and chili threads and has great colour, texture and flavour. NYT recipe developer Eric Kim has recently proclaimed it the secret ingredient to the best tomato sandwich. It's also great on top of popcorn or or eggs.
